Design of the official Seal of the Order

The Greek cross with arms of equal length is on the center of an octagon. An eight-pointed star surrounds the octagon. This figure is commonly known in geometry as an octagram or eight-angled star polygon. The design is commonly used with various colors.



First and foremost, it is imperative to clarify that the symbol of the great Star is the official emblem of Ordo Aurum Solis. This veracity can be easily substantiated through the Order's historical records and the writings of our past Grand Masters, where the initial utilization of this specific design as the original Seal of the Order is clearly documented. The Seal, along with its associated names, is officially conveyed through documents from past Grand Masters to the current Grand Master.
Unauthorized use of this Seal in any form is strictly prohibited. If the Seal is employed on an internet website with our authorization, it must include a special note in the code of the page and a link to our official website. For those incorporating the symbol in books, writings, inscriptions, or any other form with permission, a special note indicating the origin of the symbol and the web address of our Order must be included.
Furthermore, the name Aurum Solis – OSV and the design of the Great Star are official trademarks registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Any infringement will be pursued to the full extent of the law.
The use of this Seal without the explicit authorization of our Order, in ANY form, serves as clear evidence of the dishonesty of the individual employing it. Legal action will be pursued by our Order if correction is not promptly made when deemed necessary.

From ages past, up to and including our modern era, our seal has been known all over the world. The enduring quality of this symbol is reliable evidence of its universal character.
The appearance of the seal varies somewhat: sometimes it appears as shown, with exactly the same interlacing, and sometimes with an eight pointed star.
